Chelsea 2018: My favourite things 3

Garden Art Plus

Third on my lust list of products I'd love to take home with me from Chelsea this year, are the amazing and unique finds from Garden Art Plus.

Travers and Katie scour scrap yards and old factories up and down the country and abroad, finding the most amazing and thrilling containers and statuary for the garden. I'd love to sit here and tell you that I've ordered two vast copper chocolate mixing vats to adorn my enormous garden; sadly, I cannot. But that's really not the point is it....We don't get cross when we can't afford a Gwen John do we? We admire it for its beauty. I love this stuff because it's old stuff that's been given new life.

These chocolate coating pots were found at an old factory in the UK. They've been gently powder-blasted and then treated to make give them verdigris.  They would look just amazing flanking a path or a pool in a huge space ...or just one in the centre of a courtyard. As you may have gathered, I have fallen hard. Do go and visit Travers and Katie at their amazing space, just to swoon, and perhaps consider whether you really do want that holiday after all...

My newsletter is much more personal than my blog - it’s where I document exactly what I’ve been doing in my own garden each day and it pops into inboxes on a Saturday or Sunday. People say it gets them motivated to get out there and do a bit of gardening which is brilliant! If you want it, just put your email in the box below, and know that I will NEVER share you details with anyone, EVER. x
